11 (who?)

Hanabi followed after her Master hurriedly, catching up to him as he walked briskly through the halls of the Imperial Palace.
“You made her mad again.” she stated worriedly.
The Grand Inquisitor said nothing as she followed after him and so she pressed further.
“You could try being gentler.”
“Why?” he asked somberly. “It won't do her any good.”
“But it will at least show that you care!” protested Hanabi as they continued. “She thinks you've completely abandoned who you used to be!”
The Grand Inquisitor snorted in apparent amusement. “Oh? And who are you referring to?”
“Kahan.” she stated candidly.
He froze in mid-stride, coming to a stop. Hanabi stopped as well, feeling her heart race as he turned to look at her, his blue gaze boring into her silvery eyes.
“What have I told you about using that name?”
“It's who you are!” Hanabi said defiantly.
“No, it's who I was.” he replied coolly, turning on his heel and continuing forwards. “You'd do well to remember that.”
“Denying yourself isn't going to solve anything!” Hanabi shouted at his retreating back. "You need to remember who you are!”
He stopped and she felt his presence pry its way inside of her mind despite her attempts to stop it.
I do. His voice chilled her heart. I am the Grand Inquisitor. And it is you that needs to remember who you are: you are my subordinate. Your opinions are only needed when I ask for them.
With that, he left her standing here, staring at his back as he went to meet with the man who had orchestrated the destruction of all they' known and even loved...and sometimes, to Hanabi at least, it seemed as if Kahan didn't care that everything they'd had had been destroyed.
So in the AU, I never really mentioned Hanabi because I didn't know what to do with her...and I still don't really.

This is a continuation from this earlier scene:…

This is very early on in the AU's inception, first few months after the end of the Clone Wars etc etc and Hanabi is still running around...sadly though I seriously doubt her ability to survive in the New Order and ultimately I think she'd be killed either by the Empire or even perhaps the Jedi she is required to hunt...actually that gives me an awful idea...hopefully BrET13 can forgive me for having it!

Because she suffers feeling she lost you you moron! Khm pardon me... xD
I think I'm not wrong if I say the Grand Inquisitor here also struggles with himself. Hanabi says the things what he maybe tries to suppress in himself and that keeps remind him of Kahan though he tries to be fully the Grand Inquisitor. We can say Hanabi weakens him playing his conscience. But I really like how she keeps trying and she stands up to him though I'm sure what she hopes to accomplish.

I had an idea concerning how she ended up like an inquisitor. I think it would fit to her. Though I'm really not sure how things happened eventually, but this just came to my mind. You know Order 66 and stuff, Kahan's not there already and the clones try to kill Hanabi but Aira-ty shows up and stops them saying that Hanabi is with them. Quasi saving her life but also deciding instead of her and because Hanabi's confused and scared she doesn't oppose. I'm not sure how Kahan now Grand Inquisitor would feel about this. Maybe it would be easier for Hanabi if she dies there but how could he not be relieved that she survived eventually even if he knows how hard is it for her under the New law. I don't know.
What do you think about this concept?

Well what can you do? Men are idiots eh?

And yes, Kahan is definitely struggling with himself though as we see later on that drops off over time and he becomes far colder. I think Hanabi is in part trying to not lose sight of her Master while at the same time struggling to keep sight of herself through him in a way, the fact that he is forcibly trying to forget Kahan scares her I think.

I actually really like that idea...and it gives me a further idea for what will happen in the scene I want to do! You are quite an inspiration, thank you very much!

wow. This is kinda scary... Great job on turning a good light character into a good dark character! that cant be easy...
SlingBlade87 Featured By Owner Jan 24, 2014
Kahan has a character has always had that darker, scarier side to him that comes out when things aren't going well. Normally he's a fairly calm and composed individual who respects others and keeps himself in check, but you'll see throughout the main story that there are points where he does some pretty nasty things to ensure that he accomplishes his goals or protects those he cares about.

It isn't too much of a stretch to take that underlying darkness and amplify it into what he's become here. After all, when you think about it, this is someone who has gone from being an ostracized Jedi, to someone that can stand besides the Emperor and not flinch. He has to become scary and far darker than he was in order to stand amidst all that.
